Sketch

I think I may be able to start uploading and being active again. I'm not entirely sure about that, but this is the first drawing I've been happy with since my hiatus. This lovely character is Nichelle, and she belongs to my friend It was supposed to be my entry for his art contest, but due to the miscarriage I had in early October I was just unable to continue drawing anything at all. Being as how I pretty much promised to enter the contest, and was then unable to follow through, I thought I'd finish my intended piece anyway, and present it as a gift instead of an entry. Better late than never I guess. Obviously this is just the sketch. I'm going to check and see if he approves, and then color it for him.

By the way, this was my first ever piece drawn entirely from scratch. No reference at all, except for the hands. (yes I know they're still not perfect. I've mentioned before that I absolutely loath drawing hands)
